Lalisa Manoban (better known as Lisa) of the record-shattering Korean girl group, BLACKPINK, is the latest global brand ambassador for MAC Cosmetics. The Thai rapper, famous for her wasp-waisted figure and killer dance moves, makes history as the first K-Pop idol to front the iconic beauty brand.

“I have always been a big fan of MAC! I like how the brand turns makeup into a form of self-expression which always gives me great confidence on stage,” Lisa says. “Together with MAC, I am excited to invite and empower more audiences as we both have individuality and diversity at our core.”

MAC revealed a striking new campaign photo, announcing the collab on social media: “For the love of Lisa!…We’ve got so many major surprises in store for the BLACKPINK star as our newest Global Brand Ambassador.”

Lisa, who boasts over 40 million Instagram followers, stuns in the new cosmetics campaign, rocking her signature bangs with a glittery cat eye and peachy-neutral pout. The subtle-yet-glam beauty look features the pop star’s most-loved MAC products, including Powder Kiss Lipstick in the shade “Mull It Over.”

“It was like love at first sight when I saw this color! This is my all-time favorite for daily use because it matches with so many makeup looks,” Lisa says of the Liquid Lipcolour in the same shade. The talented trendsetter likes to create an ombré lip with the product by “tapping it onto the center of my lips and using my finger to blend out toward the edges for the soft look.”

The sparkly purple eye look in the photo was created with more of Lisa’s favorites from MAC’s permanent lineup: “Stars ‘N’ Rockets” and “Espresso” Eye Shadows and Dazzleshadow Liquid in the shades “Pantherized,” “Diamond Crumbles,” and “Not Afraid To Sparkle.”

For skin, Lisa achieves an immaculate matte finish with two of MAC’s best-selling staples: Studio Fix Fluid foundation and Fix+ hydrating mist.

“When I am performing on stage under the hot lights, I apply Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 and set with Fix+ so there is no smudging – even when I dance!”

As global ambassador, Lisa will front MAC’s collections and campaigns, as well as inspire some of the brand’s new projects. She’ll also be working with MAC makeup artists to share her signature looks, beauty tips, skincare routines, and more with fans.
