If anyone’s ever told you that your social media account was pointless — boy, were they wrong. Apparently, these days, it can even land you an ad campaign for a major fashion house!
Marc by Marc Jacobs actually discovered the stars of its last two campaigns through social media. After receiving over 70,000 submissions to its first #castmemarc contest, the label decided to bring it back for a second season. MBMJ designers, Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley, used the hashtag to select 11 new faces from around the globe to star in their latest campaign.
The spring 2015 ad, shot by David Sims and styled by Katie Grand, featured the lucky lineup in a variety of funky, 90s-inspired looks. Check out the incredibly awesome images of the diverse model selection below.
